Jane Huston Crommelin is a Birmingham, AL Realtor of 23+ years–and yes, she goes by a true Southern double name! She is proudly affiliated with Ray & Poynor Properties, and brings her early career of 20 years in sales and marketing into every transaction. Throughout her tenure in real estate, Jane Huston has honed her unique process into one that is truly “full service”: never missing a detail and remaining agile to address the needs of individual clients. Her ideology is to have each home she represents “for sold,” and not “for sale.” As a native of Florence and having raised 3 children in Birmingham with her husband, Claiborne, she has grown to know the ins and outs of what makes Alabama the perfect place to set roots for generations of family. No matter a client’s stage of life, socioeconomic status, or level of market knowledge, she simply loves to advocate for clients to help achieve their best-case scenario time and time again.
Although she hits the ground running every morning (often literally, with early mornings at Iron Tribe), she also loves to unwind with family and friends by hosting one of her famous porch parties. In her downtime, you can find her sailing, needlepointing, or spending the weekend on Lake Martin.

She loves engaging with and supporting her local community and has been involved with the Junior League of Birmingham, the Ballet Guild of Birmingham, the Junior Women’s Committee of 100, the Lindy's Dance Club, and the Linly Heflin Unit. She is on the board of Magic Moments and Cadence Bank and is also a member of the Mountain Brook, Vestavia Hills, Homewood, Trussville, Shelby County, and Hoover Chambers of Commerce.
She is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Alabama Association of Realtors, Birmingham Association of Realtors, and the Club of Excellence while also holding the following professional designations: Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES), Military Relocation Professional (MRP), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), ePro, ASP® Home Staging Network and the International Association of Home Staging Professionals® (IAHSP®), Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), and Seller Representative Specialist (SRS).
